About Horizontal Autoclaves
Horizontal Autoclaves
Owing to our expertise in this domain, we are engaged in offering Horizontal Autoclaves. These autoclaves comprise triple walled cylindrical with full steam jacket and separate boiler. Heavy gauge stainless steel is used for making inner chamber and steam jacket with sheet with leak proof argon-arc welding. Manufactured using stainless steel, the sterilizer has single piece door. In addition to this, mounted on tubular steel frame with ground leveling screwed flanges, back plate and ring is also made of thick stainless steel sheet. The outer jacket is wrapped with asbestos sheet or glass wool and steam generator, which is made using heavy stainless steel sheet. Fitted with heating elements and low water level cutoff device, a plate is provided with these autoclaves. For easy cleaning of the deposited scale on the elements, front folding plate system is provided. Pressure control switch is fitted with water gauge glass for water level indication, water inlet and outlet valves.
With the help of multi-port valve, which is fitted at front top, complete sterilizing cycle is controlled from one point. Fast and slow speeds of steam exhaust are available. Mounted on the multi port valve, easily readable jacket and chamber pressure on gauges are available. To absorb the condensate automatically to prevent moistening of the subject matter to be sterilized, a moisture trap is fitted in the chamber discharge line. In order to break vacuum in case of formation of vacuum due to steam condensation, automatic vacuum breaker is provided.

The stainless steel body ensures longevity and corrosion-resistance, making these units a reliable choice for repeated daily use. With a weight range of 5070 kg, they are ideal for processing medium- to large-sized loads, effectively integrating into diverse workflows for both routine and specialized sterilization tasks.
Efficient Power Usage and OperationOperating at just 50 watts and requiring a standard 240-volt supply, these autoclaves are energy-conscious while maintaining high sterilization performance. Their straightforward controls and rapid cycle times enhance productivity in both industrial and laboratory settings, reducing downtime and increasing output for users throughout India.
FAQs of Horizontal Autoclaves:
Q: How does a horizontal autoclave function in an industrial or laboratory environment?
A: A horizontal autoclave sterilizes equipment and materials by subjecting them to high-pressure steam at controlled temperatures. Its spacious chamber, crafted from stainless steel, accommodates large or multiple items, ensuring uniform sterilization crucial for industrial and laboratory workflows.
Q: What materials are used in the construction of these autoclaves, and why is this important?
A: These autoclaves are built with high-quality stainless steel. This material is essential because it offers superior resistance to corrosion and enhances durability, making it well-suited for demanding and frequent use in both laboratory and industrial settings.
Q: When should horizontal autoclaves be used in an industrial process?
A: Horizontal autoclaves are recommended whenever there is a need to sterilize tools, equipment, or media that come in direct contact with sensitive manufacturing or laboratory processes. Routine use ensures adherence to strict hygiene standards and helps prevent contamination.
Q: Where can these horizontal autoclaves be installed?
A: They are designed for installation in industrial sites, research laboratories, hospitals, and other settings where reliable sterilization is essential. Their compact yet robust design allows them to fit into dedicated sterilization rooms or larger workspaces with ease.
Q: What is the process involved in operating a horizontal autoclave?
A: Operating the autoclave involves loading items into the chamber, setting the appropriate cycle parameters, and initiating the sterilization. The unit then uses steam pressure and temperature to sterilize the contents thoroughly before an automated or manual unloading after completion.
Q: How does using this autoclave benefit industries and laboratories?
A: These horizontal autoclaves improve safety and efficiency by ensuring thorough sterilization of equipment and materials, reducing the risk of contamination, and supporting compliance with industry regulations. Their robust design and energy-efficient operation result in long-term cost savings and reliable performance.
